promoting professional excellence in the teaching of social dance,
at every level of dance, in every context where dance is being taught
Our goal is to support the development of pedagogy, curriculum, teaching methodology and developmental stage targeted sequential lesson plans, and to include access to age appropriate music, videos and samples from professional and non-professional literature related to dance teaching, dance organizing and dance program management across the full range of American Social Dance and Social Dance Music
While our primary reference group will always be PK-12 NYS Public School Teachers of Dance, we also want to make all of our resources materials available to any community based dance teachers who are serious about wanting to advance their level of professionalism, across the full spectrum of American Social Dance.
